Security

So we say with confidence, "The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid. What can man do to me?" - Hebrews 13:6

Hope

While we wait for the blessed hope - the glorious appearing of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ. - Titus 2:13

May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust In him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. - Romans 15:13

Thankfulness

Rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness. - Colossians 2:7

Give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus. - 1 Thessalonians 5:18

Patience

Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for him; do not fret when men succeed in their ways, when they carry out wicked schemes. - Psalms 37:7

You need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what he has promised. - Hebrews 10:36

Forgiveness

Get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, brawling and slander, along with every form of malice. Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you. - Ephesians 4:31-32

For if you forgive men when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive men their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins. - Matthew 6:14-15

Discipline

Therefore I do not run like a man running aimlessly; I do not fight like a man beating the air. No, I beat my body and make it my slave so that after I have preached to others, I myself will not be disqualified for the prize. - 1 Corinthians 9:26-27

Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the sinful nature with its passions and desires. Since we live by the Spirit, let us keep in step with the Spirit. - Galatians 5:24-25
